2003 Porsche 995 GT3 - Super Cup
This Porsche 911 (996) was delivered new on March 28, 2003 by the Porsche Zerfirum Rhein-Oberberg (D) to the Jürgen Alzen Motorsport team and was used immediately in the Porsche Supercup.
Well-known drivers such as Alessandro Zampedri, Bert van Rossem and Marco Seefried successfully used this Porsche in 2003 and 2004 internationally in the Porsche Supercup Championship on circuits such as Imola, Barcelona, Zeltweg, Monaco, the Nürburgring, Indianapolis and many other tracks. The races took place in the respective supporting events of Formula 1 and the DTM.
The car took part in various national and international races and training events in 2006.
In 2007 it was used at the 24-hour race in Spa Franchorchamps in the G2 class. The drivers were the French Manuel Ferreira, Philippe Noziöre. Romy Brouard and Philippe Roussaud. The race ended successfully (43rd place on the grid, final classification 32nd place in the overall field).
After that it was quiet until in the 2019 season there were two appearances at the well-known historical racing events "Endurance Racing Legends" organized by Peter Auto. In April 2019 in Barcelona, the car was able to keep up and achieved a respectable 12th place overall. In June 2019, in Dijon, the Porsche drove along as a guest without any problems throughout the weekend.
In the years 2015, 2016 and 2018 the Porsche was extensively overhauled mechanically. Among other things, known weaknesses of the 996 were eliminated. Since then, Wagen has only been in action for 13.5 hours of free driver training.
The Porsche comes with two additional wheel sets and a compressed air lance for the built-in lifting system. A passenger seat with seat belts is also installed.
The supplied documentation is very extensive and also includes a large number of images. The car was depicted several times in the book "Porsche Sport 2003" by Ulrich Upietz.
With this vehicle, the new owner acquires the opportunity to take part in numerous historical races at low cost or to have a lot of fun with a real racing car at free training events.
This vehicle is a racing car not street legal.
