Jorg van Ommen
(born September 27, 1962 in Moers ) is a former German racing driver.
From 1984 to 1996 van Ommen was active in the German Touring Car Championship and was able to win a total of five races, but his first one didn't come until 1992, although he was on pole in the very first DTM race. With 992.5 points, he ranks sixth in the all-time DTM points table. In 1994 and 1995 he was runner-up behind DTM record champion Bernd Schneider. Since 2005, van Ommen has had its own racing team, which is represented in the Seat Leon Supercopa and Porsche 997 Cup, among others.
His maternal uncle Armin Hahne was also active in the DTM and also won several races.
