Alfa Romeo 2000 GT Veloce Coupe
The Alfa Romeo Giulia GT two-door coupe, widely known to the public as Alfa Bertone, supplemented the Alfa Romeo Giulia four-door sedan from 1963 to 1975 and, like them, belongs to the Tipo 105 series. The GT featured a body designed by Bertone was available over the years with engines ranging from 1.3 to 2.0 liters displacement. Alfa Romeo used additional designations such as Sprint, Junior, Veloce or GTV to differentiate them. The GTs were joined by the particularly sporty GTA versions and the very rare Cabriolet GTC. The Alfa Bertone is considered a style icon that helped shape the myth of the Alfa Romeo brand. All models of the GT series are now coveted classics. The Giulietta derivative Giulia Sprint (without the suffix GT), which is based on the predecessor coupé of the Tipo 101 series and has its body, does not belong to this series.
